MODULE 2

 

"THIS BODY THAT SPEAKS TO US SO MUCH ..."

 

 

Each workshop lasts 3 hours.

WORKSHOP # 1 - AN OVERVIEW OF BODY BIOMECHANICS.

This workshop provides an introduction to anatomical/biomechanical terminology, discusses optimal postural alignment, and identifies common postural maladaptive syndromes with the aim of establishing a better understanding of the musculoskeletal system.

WORKSHOP # 2 - INTRODUCTION TO FUNCTIONAL EXERCISES FOR THE UPPER BODY.

In this part of Module 2, the focus is on conditioning guidelines for the core, core, and upper extremities. It provides an overview of adequate movement patterns, as well as appropriate exercise progressions/ regressions with potential contraindications.

WORKSHOP # 3 - INTRODUCTION TO FUNCTIONAL EXERCISES FOR THE LOWER BODY.

In this part of Module 2, we look more at conditioning protocols for the back and lower limbs. It discusses the appropriate movement patterns, as well as the appropriate exercise progressions / regressions with potential contraindications.

WORKSHOP # 4 - ACUPRESSION AND EMOTIONAL LIBERATION TECHNIQUE.

It is not enough to eat well and exercise to be in good health ... You still need to know how to free yourself from your negative emotions and to circulate energy in our chakras, as well as our meridians. This workshop briefly touches on the importance of considering this element when aiming to promote the development of a healthy body.
